Miller Green, a freshman pitcher from Nashville, Tennessee, is already making waves for the Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team. In his debut season, Green has showcased his pitching prowess, delivering clutch performances against top-ranked opponents.

Freshman Year Highlights

  • Earned a win against #1 Tennessee at the SEC Tournament, allowing just three hits over 4.0 scoreless innings.
  • Pitched 1.2 scoreless innings against #2 Kentucky.
  • Held Georgia to one run over 3.0 innings.
  • Kept LSU scoreless over the final two innings, striking out four batters.
  • Recorded saves against Missouri and Louisiana.
  • Threw 2.2 scoreless innings with three strikeouts against Gonzaga.

Green's stellar performances on the mound have earned him respect from teammates and coaches alike, solidifying his role as a key contributor to Vanderbilt's success.

Growing up in Nashville, Green had the opportunity to stay close to home and play for the prestigious Vanderbilt program. "It just came down to where I thought was the place that fit me best, and Vanderbilt ended up being that," Green said. With family nearby, he has the ideal support system to thrive both academically and athletically.
