Some athletes follow a straight line to the top. Jadin O'Brien took a different route and it led her somewhere extraordinary. The Notre Dame track and field star turned world-class bobsled push athlete is the newest member of the JLab family, and our first-ever athlete to compete on the world's biggest sporting stage. JLab is proud to partner with an athlete whose story is defined by grit, resilience, and an unshakeable will to win.
A Decorated Career at Notre Dame
Before Jadin ever set foot on a bobsled, she was already making history at the collegiate level. A three-time national champion in the indoor pentathlon (2023, 2024, and 2025), Jadin established herself as one of the most dominant multi-event athletes in the country. She earned five-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference First Team honors, became a 10-time All-American, and added more than a half-dozen All-Academic recognitions along the way.
Her path was never easy. A rare childhood diagnosis, a series of serious injuries throughout her college career, and setback after setback could have derailed anyone. Instead, Jadin turned every obstacle into fuel. That combination of athletic excellence and mental fortitude is exactly what makes her a perfect fit for the JLab family.
A Six-Month Journey That Changed Everything
In the summer of 2025, Jadin was competing at the U.S. track and field championships. Two days later, she was beginning bobsled training, a sport she had never tried. After making the 12.5-hour drive to Lake Placid, New York, she was pushing alongside the country's best in less than two weeks.
Within six months, she had earned her spot on Team USA's bobsled squad, pushing for monobob gold medalist Elana Meyers Taylor, the pilot who first reached out to recruit her. Despite a serious sled crash in St. Moritz just weeks before competition that left both athletes beaten up, Jadin chose to compete anyway, putting her body on the line and earning her place on the team. The rookie with only two career races stepped onto the world stage, representing the United States in the two-woman bobsled event in Italy.
Powered by JLab: Gear Built for the Grind
Jadin trusts JLab to keep her in the zone no matter where she is or what's ahead. On flights between competitions, she relies on the Limited Edition Star Spangled JBuds Lux Headphones for premium sound that helps her block out the cabin noise and arrive focused and ready to compete.
For short commutes, quick calls, and keeping her playlist going between sessions, the Epic Pods Earbuds are her go-to, delivering comfort and reliability that fits seamlessly into her busy day.
A track and field star at heart, when Jadin laces up for a run or powers through a warmup, she reaches for the Epic Sport ANC3 built for movement, with a secure fit and active noise cancellation that keeps her locked in stride for stride.
And when it's time to unwind after a long competition day, the JBuds Party Speaker delivers the soundtrack to help her recharge.
What Comes Next
Jadin O'Brien is proof that greatness doesn't always follow the expected path. She plans to return to track, continue in bobsled, and keep competing at the highest levels in both. Whatever comes next, one thing is clear: she's just getting started.
JLab is honored to be part of her journey.
