JLab Gives Back

This holiday season, JLab is cranking up the volume on giving back by teaming up with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. We're committed to bringing joy and comfort to young patients during their hospital stays. As part of this partnership, we'll be making a financial donation along with gifting our popular JBuddies headphones to brighten the days of young patients, providing a moment of entertainment, and a bit of magic in their hospital journey.

Amplifying Our Impact

JLab will match up to $10,000 of customer donations through December 31, 2024. By supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, we're helping fund critical life-saving treatments, innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services that put kids' and families' minds at ease during difficult hospital stays.

JLab Playmakers

Now through mid-December, JLab Playmakers like University of Florida quarterback Graham Mertz and PGA Tour professionals are visiting hospitals within the Children's Miracle Network. These heartwarming visits go beyond spreading holiday cheer as they deliver JLab headphones, creating meaningful moments of joy and connection for young patients. Each visit is an opportunity to bring smiles, offer a welcome distraction, and remind these incredible kids that they are supported and celebrated.

Spreading Smiles and Hope

PGA Tour golfer Sepp Straka recently brought joy to young patients during a special visit to Children's of Alabama. "Had an amazing time spending the day with all my new friends at Children's of Alabama. Grateful to the team at Children's of Alabama for having me, and shoutout to JLab Audio for hooking us up with some awesome headphones!" Straka was able to create memorable experiences that go beyond the world of sports. His involvement with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals showcases how athletes can use their platform to brighten the lives of children facing medical challenges, turning a simple visit into a source of inspiration and hope.

A New Chapter in Gaming for Good

We're excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership between Playfly Sports, JLab, and Extra Life, a program of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, for an upcoming charity gaming challenge. This January, we're bringing together the gaming community to support children's hospitals while competing in EA College Football 25. This meaningful initiative aims to unite gamers in support of a cause that touches communities across the nation.

Tournament Details You Need to Know

Mark your calendars! The qualifying rounds kick off on January 18th and 19th, 2025, with playoff stages following on January 25th and 26th. The competition is open to all participants aged 16 and above, with a modest $15 charity donation serving as your entry fee. The stakes? A generous $2,500 prize pool, premium JLab gear, and the chance to make a real difference in children's lives.

Rewards That Matter

Want to show your support in style? The first 50 players to raise $50 or more will receive an exclusive event t-shirt. But that's not all – players can compete for an incredible collection of prizes including:

  • Football memorabilia signed by NFL legends Drew Bledsoe, Victor Cruz, Kyle Rudolph, and Marc Bulger
  • Premium JLab gaming gear
  • A share of the $2,500 prize pool

Making a Real Impact

"Every dollar can support life-saving care, groundbreaking research, and access to care that every child deserves," says Jeff Montegut, Director of Extra Life. "When you choose to compete and fundraise, your efforts directly impact the children's hospital you select, helping to ensure kids in your community get the care they need."
"JLab is excited to partner with Playfly Sports and Extra Life to support this incredible gaming event," adds Terra Teat, CMO at JLab. "We're committed to giving back to the community and leveraging our sports partnerships to help raise money for a great cause. We're excited to see the competition unfold, celebrate the winners and generate much needed funds to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals."

Building a United Gaming Community

This tournament represents more than just competition – it's about bringing together collegiate gaming communities that often operate independently. As Francisco Tejada, Sr. Director of Marketing for Playfly Esports, explains, "Our goal is to continue recruiting team captains and leaders on campus, connecting these siloed groups, and establish a direct connection with Extra Life and their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital."
