Decent quality, but declining too quickly
The nose cancelling could be better, but the sound quality is great. Unfortunately, in recent days my right earbud has been playing at a lower volume than the left. I'm disappointed, because I've only been using these for 18 months, and I take good care of them.
Powerful Earbuds for the Price
I was not prepared for how good these earbuds would sound. Beautifully well rounded and balanced, yet easily customizable with the apps EQ. Battery life has been stellar, both with and without ANC turned on. My one gripe, and the reason for not giving 5 stars is every time they turn on, or sound profiles are changed, a voice will say "turned on" or whatever the name of the action is. There is no way to turn this off and it gets REALLY annoying. But if you don't change settings often, they're great!
Great when they work
These earbuds are absolutely amazing when they work but they've become super difficult after a few months of use. They constantly have pairing issues. When paired successfully, sound often plays through one ear only. Following the trouble shooting steps on the website to factory reset them occasionally gives them a few more good days, but they've become increasingly more frustrating to use as time goes on. The sound quality and app connectivity are great, with a few nice preset EQ's as well within the app. However, I've had these for less than a year and are already wrestling with them on a daily basis and am close to simply giving up on them and steering clear of another pair of JLab earbuds.
Left side static noise left
It's so sad the left side persistent static noise

Can they be used independently?
If I connect my ear buds via Bluetooth then connect them to a different device using the USB dongle if I go to pull them out without using the dongle will it still connect to the device that was connected via Bluetooth
I am interested in these but I want to know what is the small accessory in the middle that looks like it connects to a type-c port? How is that used?
The accessory in the case is a USB C dongle. You can connect it with your device that supports it for instant connection rather than Bluetooth.
Hi there, I was wondering if these could be used as hearing aids? Thank you.
These are not intended to be used for hearing aids. For any other questions or concerns please reach us at support@jlab.com
Do these work via dongle with ps5? I’ve heard that not all dongle-connected earbuds do
The PS5’s USB ports feature different connection speeds which may or may not be compatible with the dongle. This is a console we have yet to test with the Epic Lab.
