JLab Named to Fast Company's 2025 Brands That Matter List

Published -

We're thrilled to announce that JLab has been recognized on Fast Company's prestigious Brands That Matter list. This honor celebrates brands that resonate deeply with people and communities in a profound way—brands that achieve meaningful cultural relevance through innovative branding and marketing.

What Makes This Award Special

Fast Company's editorial team reviewed approximately 1,200 submissions, evaluating brands based on their emotional resonance, cultural significance, distinctiveness, and influence throughout 2025. Only 121 companies made the cut, joining brands like Netflix, State Farm, and New Balance.

As Fast Company's editor-in-chief Brendan Vaughan noted, what unites honorees is "their dedication and ingenuity in forging authentic audience relationships through work that resonates in culture."

For Every You: Reaching Diverse Communities

Our "For Every You" campaign launched in 2024 with a simple truth: different passions require different audio solutions. In 2025, we expanded this vision through strategic partnerships and authentic brand ambassadors, embedding ourselves in communities from college campuses to recording studios, racetracks to golf courses. We're showing up not as outsiders, but as part of the experience.

Amplifying Authentic Voices

We partnered with recording artist Jenevieve, whose genre-defying sound embodies creative authenticity, and Love Island USA runner-up Miguel Harichi, whose genuine confidence resonated with millions. These aren't celebrity endorsements; they're connections with communities of music lovers, content creators, and fitness enthusiasts searching for audio that matches their unique rhythm. From Jenevieve using JBuds Mini to review mixes to Miguel relying on Epic Open Sport for workouts, we're providing products for every moment of their journeys.

College Sports: Part of the Culture

We've partnered with 17 D1 schools, connecting with 182M+ college sports fans nationwide. In 2025, we became title sponsor of the JLab Birmingham Bowl, bringing together the electricity of college football at the highest level. Building on partnerships with Travis Hunter and Hailey VanLith in 2024, we welcomed 2025 Heisman hopefuls Julian Sayin and Fernando Mendoza into the JLab family.

Fans see our signage throughout stadiums and arenas. They watch their favorite players wearing JLab on game day. We're visible in their community, at their games, part of their Saturday traditions. Behind the scenes, our athletes use JBuds Lux and Epic Lux headphones to lock in before kickoff, Epic Sport ANC 3 earbuds for training, and Epic Party Speakers to celebrate championship moments. Those same speakers show up at tailgates where fans gather before games. We're soundtracking the entire college sports experience, from parking lot to final whistle.

Motorsports: Embedded in Racing Culture

Our 2025 Speedway Motorsports partnership brought JLab directly into racing culture across 10 tracks throughout the season. Fans see our on-track signage at major events and experience our activations firsthand, from tailgate parties to the foam party we hosted at NASCAR Fan Fest at Bristol Speedway to influencer experiences that bring the JLab family together. When fans renewed their season tickets, they received JLab earbuds and headphones, welcoming them into the family.

We understood this community values both intensity and safety, so we showed up with the right solutions. Our JBuds Protect earplugs for adults and JBuddies Protect earmuffs for kids let entire families safely experience racing's thunder without compromising their hearing. Our Party Speakers turn pre-race tailgates into celebrations. We're not just sponsoring races; we're embedded in the rituals and experiences that make racing culture unforgettable.

Professional Golf: Precision for the World's Best

Our PGA Tour roster features talent from around the globe, including both 2025 Ryder Cup team captains: Keegan Bradley for Team USA and Luke Donald for Team Europe. We showed up for one of golf's most prestigious events by creating custom JBuds Lux and Epic Lux headphones for both teams to commemorate the occasion.

Our Epic Open Sport and JBuds Open Sport open-ear earbuds deliver premium sound while keeping golfers connected to their surroundings, essential for a sport where awareness is everything.

Cultural Impact Through Authentic Connection

This recognition reflects meaningful cultural relevance achieved by showing up authentically where our customers' passions live. From recording artists using our products in their creative process to college fans seeing JLab at their team's stadium, from Heisman hopefuls wearing our gear on game day to racing families protecting their hearing at Speedway events, from Ryder Cup captains trusting our custom headphones to everyday people soundtracking their moments, we're enhancing experiences, not interrupting them. By meeting diverse communities with products designed for their specific passions, we've built the genuine connections and cultural impact that Fast Company honors.
