How to Find Your iPhone or Android with JLab Wireless Products

Published -

Losing your smartphone can be a stressful experience. However, if you own wireless earbuds or headphones from JLab, you're in luck. In this blog post, we'll share a useful tip on how to find your iPhone or Android using our JLab wireless earbuds and headphones. Whether you've misplaced your device at home, or it's buried somewhere in the depths of your bag, this method can help you locate your phone quickly and easily.

Method 1: Using Connected Earbuds/Headphones

If you've connected your JLab wireless earbuds or headphones to your smartphone, this method can be a lifesaver.

  1. Turn On Your Earbuds/Headphones: Start by turning on the JLab earbuds or headphones that were previously connected to your smartphone. These devices are equipped with Bluetooth technology, and when powered on, they automatically attempt to connect to the last paired device.

  2. Activate Siri/Google Assistant: Once your earbuds or headphones are active, use the voice assistant on your smartphone. If you're an iPhone user, activate Siri by saying "Hey Siri," or if you're on Android, trigger Google Assistant by saying "Okay Google."

  3. Ask to "Find My Phone": After activating the voice assistant, simply ask it to "find my phone." Your smartphone will then receive the command to make a loud ringtone, even if it's on silent or vibrate mode.

  4. Listen for the Ringtone: Keep an ear out for the distinctive ringtone and follow the sound to locate your lost device. This method is especially effective when your phone is in close proximity to your JLab wireless product.

Method 2: Using a Different Device

If your JLab wireless product is not within range or you don't have access to it, you can still use another device that's linked to your Apple or Google account.

  1. Grab Another Device: Pick up another smartphone, tablet, or computer that's logged in with the same Apple or Google account as the lost device.

  2. Activate Siri/Google Assistant: On the secondary device, activate Siri or Google Assistant in the same way as mentioned in the previous method.

  3. Ask to "Find My Phone": Once the voice assistant is active, use it to request "find my phone."

  4. Receive a Ping from Your Account: Your Apple or Google account will now ping your lost smartphone, instructing it to ring loudly, again, regardless of its current sound settings.

Losing your smartphone is never a pleasant experience, but with JLab wireless products you can quickly locate your iPhone or Android device. Whether your earbuds/headphones are within reach or you have a secondary device connected to your Apple or Google account, finding your phone has never been easier. Say goodbye to the stress of searching for your lost device, and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with owning JLab wireless products.
