A Rising Star
Meghan Royal shines as a standout player for UCLA's women's golf team. As a sophomore at UCLA, Royal has already achieved notable success on the golf course. In the Fall 2023 season, she emerged as UCLA’s top finisher in her first two tournaments as a Bruin. Royal's scoring average of 70.9 and consistent rounds under par earned her recognition, including All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Week honors.
From Arkansas to UCLA
Before joining UCLA, Royal began her collegiate golf career at Arkansas. Despite her short stint there, she made a significant impact, earning SEC Freshman of the Week honors.
A Legacy of Excellence
Royal's journey in golf began at Carlsbad High School, where she earned numerous accolades, including the New Coast League Player of the Year award. Her success continued on the amateur circuit, where she consistently showcased her skills in prestigious tournaments.
