We hadn't even had a chance to announce newcomers Betsi Flint and Kelley Larsen to #TeamJLab, when they went ahead and won the USA NORCECA Beach Volleyball Playoffs yesterday. Betsi and Kelley won (after coming in the #4 seed) the Manhattan Beach event, which qualified the team to compete for Team USA in three international NORCECA events in the coming months.
It wasn't your typical Southern California beach day either. The winds were estimated at 30 mph. Here's some footage from Betsi's phone from the winning match - and you'll see their shirts and the ball moving oddly.
