His 2024 sophomore season was nothing short of spectacular, earning All-SEC second team honors as a return specialist and Phil Steele honorable mention All-America recognition as a punt returner. Hight started all 13 games while recording 33 tackles, two interceptions, and four pass breakups on defense. His special teams impact was even more impressive, returning 18 punts for 265 yards and a touchdown, including a memorable 57-yard scoring return against Alcorn State.
