Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great package - could use larger option silicone gel tips I've received my Epic2's from JLAB and so far am really happy with them. The battery life is awesome. I'm happy to say they have easily replaced the wired sennheiser headphones I have been a loyal fan on for 10 years. My only request would be the option for a larger suite of silicone gel tips. I've tried all 3 of the large options, including the double and triple flanged, but it still doesn't provide a snug fit in one ear. Other than that I've no complaints. An excellent product at an affordable price. Now I just have to decide which JBL Epic 2 I will buy for my girlfriend's birthday so she stops stealing mine! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from burn them in, you'll love 'em even more These are my first bluetooth earbuds and I can only compare them to my other in-ears, headbuds and -phones. At first they sounded "okay" and I thought, since I want to use them while running and doing other outdoor exercise, they are fine. But then I gave the burn-in file by David Rivera provided by Jlabaudio a go. It took a few days and it is really annoying if your in the same room while the file is playing, but after the recommended time the sound really improved. Now I also wear them in the office if I'm bothered by the surrounding noise and want to listen to some music. They sure are comfortable enough to be worn for a few hours straight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great earphones, but will break within one-to-two years I ordered the first pair in 2015. They worked great, fitted great. I was very happy until less than a year of using, they stopped working :( Under warranty, returned, got a coupon to get another pair. Got the second pair - same story - worked well for a little over a year, then one earphone stopped working. This time, however, tough luck - the are not subject to the 1 year warranty, so I am stuck with them. I am not ready to pay $100 every 2 years for a pair or earphones. I also feel that now, in Oct 2017, the price of $100 is too much for a technology that has been around for 2-3 years at least. If the price was below $50, I would consider it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great in the beginning, wears out too quickly I've had these headphones for almost 8 months and I use them everyday. Best things about them: outstanding battery life! Nice volume control, good sound. Sweat or rain hasn't affected the sound or function. Worst things: interference when anything touches them (my hair, the collar of my shirt, practically unusable when wearing a hoodie). The control buttons are wearing out and the power on/off button is getting harder to use every day. The cover for the charging port hasn't stayed in place for months. Now I have started getting a very loud static "blip" every 30 seconds. I'm disappointed that they didn't last longer for the $$ I spent on them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really not the best I bought these based on a professional review stating they we're the very best Bluetooth earbuds available. I think not.... and here's why Weak Bluetooth reception. When cycling I have to keep my smartphone in my right jersey pocket. Not the left, not the middle. Only the right pocket, and my phone can be the only thing in my pocket. Clif bars = no signal Poor fit. I've tried every size and shape of silicone end and none will stay in my ear canal. I believe the wire hook really doesn't help keep the earbud seated. Sound is ok, not spectacular. Certainly not the best. Battery life is very good, maybe the best I've used. They're decent, im using them, just expected better

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sound and Mobility EPIC2 5 Star I am a military personnel currently at San Francisco, CA. For my everyday workout EPIC2 rocks. With its incomparable prolpnged battery backup I can go for days. The built quality and fit in ear is great. I used to have JBL and other earphones but since I have EPIC2, I love its sound quality and superb BASS response better than other earphones in the market. If you want greater mobility, hassle free wires and all then EPIC2 is your choice and need. The sturdy case of it is really good for protection. All my 5 STAR rating for this little piece of GEM. Comparing prices of similar earbuds,buying EPIC2 really gives true value for my every dollars spent on it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sounding buds, but they SKIP a lot! Great sounds and fitting buds. When Im not especially active they work / sound / feel great. However, after lifting weights i walk 100 yards to the cardio machines with my Iphone6 in my pocket. The skipping is constant. I need to hold my phone in my hand to prevent skipping. On the elliptical machine there is no skipping with the phone in my pocket but the skipping starts again as soon as I slow walk out of the gym. I tried to re-pair the buds to the phone but there is no difference. If anyone has a solution, please let me know. Otherwise one of the best pair of buds Ive owned and over the years Ive had several pairs (sony, phillips, seinheiser, etc).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 40 Days of normal operation, then kaput. Running use only. My Epic 2's lasted about 40 days, then became inoperable. I only used the earbuds for running and would wipe them down after each run. Followed all of the manufacturers recommendations on maintenance. The sounds was good quality and I enjoyed the product while it lasted, but $100 for 40 days of use is not a good ROI. After these earbuds quit on me, I bought TaoTronics earbuds from Amazon for $36, these are great, though the audio isn't nearly as good as the Epic 2. But they are still working after 40 days and stay in your ear. Hope this helps anyone considering buying the Epic 2, as with all things YMMV. Good Luck!

Has anyone had these headphones work for more than a month or so? I've had a ton of problems with jlab products and wondering if anyone has had these long enough to know if they actually work.

I bought my Epic 2 on 07/24/2017. Still going strong. I am, by no means, easy on them either. If I'm not using them, they are in my purse. Never use the case. If the hook ear piece twists and I hear some static/connection issues, I'll reposition the hooks and the connection issue is corrected within a few minutes. Pretty amazing. The battery life is also really awesome. 10 to 12 hours a day on a single charge, no problem. As the previous answer mentioned, the microphone is essentially unusable. I've tried and no one can hear me. I was so impressed with my EPIC 2, I bought the Air Buds. TIP: Switch out the gel ear tips on the EPIC 2 to foam ear tips - the sound quality gets even better.
